Acer palmatum 'Tess'

Rare Beautiful Tess Japanese Maple Tree

Acer palmatum 'Tess' leafs out with an orange-pink color the leaves which radiates outwards to the edge of the leaves as more chlorophyll comes into leaves. According to Dick van der Maat who introduced this selection, the leaves curl downward like a hand, while the habit of the tree is fastigate and narrow. 'Tess' has been a fairly vigorous selection for us.  We expect this Japanese maple to reach 10-12 ft in 15 years. Fall colors on 'Tess' are  bright yellow to crimson to scarlet.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
